Job Description:

The Plant Care Technician is responsible for taking care of plants at customer locations, ensuring that their plants remain healthy and vibrant. You will be in charge of servicing a structured route of accounts, visiting each one on a regular basis according to the route plan.

Responsibilities:

• Plant care: Water, prune, clean, fertilize, and troubleshoot pests/diseases for plants at customer locations to ensure a healthy and aesthetic appearance. Replace plants when necessary.
• Provide outstanding customer service by maintaining professional communication and neat appearance
• Complete daily route within budgeted time
• Properly document work orders, service records and route sheets
• Ensure customer site is kept clean

Qualifications:

• Horticultural experience/familiarity with plants is preferred, but can be formal or informal
• High energy level – the job is physical and requires being on your feet most of the day, carrying water buckets, lifting, and occasionally climbing ladders
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently
• Must have reliable personal vehicle available each work day (reimbursed for gas/mileage)
• Clean driving record
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check will be performed
